We're a mobile app kiwi startup business located in Wellington attempting to make an impact on the way small to large businesses do things on a digital mobile platform. Starting out as an idea in 2010, App Technologies Limited was registered and developed by founder - Nicky Maaka who is a keen and dedicated technologist with a passion for all things 'techy'. AppTech's core business is to provide affordable, simple, but easy to manage, Mobile App Solutions that allow our customers the means to effectively promote their business and engage directly with their customers without compromising on quality in delivery.
AppTech work with a number of incredible businesses and organisations throughout New Zealand. We are proud of the relationships that we hold and will continue to grow our network. We are also proud to be involved in working with Maori organisations on incredible initiatives. More on this later - watch this space...

Technology is changing rapidly and as a result we are faced with a shift on how consumers behave. As countries, cultures and people become more socially interconnected with one another, we are faced with expanding new landscapes of business in education and trends from a technology perspective. For New Zealand, working with Maori organisations from a local, government and iwi perspective has given us a driven goal to facilitate and become a part of the Eco System of Technology for all Maori and Pacific Island communities. Apptech's dream is to become a beacon in forward thinking for Maori and Pacific Island cultures to help facilitate and bridge the gap towards a technology focused direction.

My name is Nicky Maaka, and I would like to personally welcome you to AppTech. I'm a passionate person when it comes to technology. I'm humbled to be apart of this new age of technology and share a common passion for people, culture and business that enable a better world for New Zealand and this planet.
I come from a sports, sales, ICT development and digital background having worked in the ICT industry for over 5 years. Everyday, there is something new to learn. What encourages me in business is working with people of all ages, backgrounds and cultures. I also own and run a recruitment business - FutureTech Recruitment which specialises in recruitment solutions for very specialist areas in the ICT market covering Mobile, Web, Design, Testing, Business Analyst, Project Management Skills. Some of the clients I work with are: Xero, Trademe, Paperkite, Sush mobile and Carnival Labs just to name a few.
